Hi, I'm Diana Marie, the designer and maker behind DIMA Dress Loft. DIMA is an abbreviation of my first and middle name. For over 26 years, sewing has been my true passion. During my journey of those last six years, I performed sewing alterations. That experience was invaluable, giving me a deep understanding of common fitting issues and how to solve them, a skill that is incredibly important for my current work.

Due to multiple spinal conditions, I had to step away from the physical demands of alterations, but that door closing opened a window to my greatest passion: patternmaking. Now, I'm fully dedicated to a new chapter of my creative life, focusing on designing stylish and well-fitting PDF patterns for home sewists.

I believe that sewing is a journey of self-education, and I'm excited to share what I learn along the way. I'm currently hard at work developing my first collection of patterns, and I can't wait to share them with you. In the meantime, I'll be posting new content about patternmaking and sewing to help you on your own creative journey.
